Eric & Mary
Los Angeles
 |
Eric and Mary met on the dance floor, hit if off, and have been dancing together now for over two years. Playing with each other, syncopating rhythms, yummy connection and just having loads of fun are why they became addicted to dancing. They both can't wait to share their love of dancing and the joy they find in movement everywhere they go. |
Tim & Whitton
Los Angeles
 |
Tim and Whitton began teaching Blues together in 2008 as a way to expand and enrich the Los Angeles Blues scene. Tim started dancing in 1997 and never stopped. While an active Lindy Hopper, and a student of Argentine Tango, Tim began learning Blues at house parties and exchanges. Whitton started dancing at eight, when she was enrolled in a ballet class. Over the years she has studied, Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Tap, and Standard Ballroom. She moved to Los Angeles in 2005 and became involved in the swing and blues scene. Students consistently say that Whitton and Tim create a great learning environment, bring lots of energy, make the class fun, and also have superb technical knowledge of the dance. They teach workshops nationally and constantly travel to national dance events and workshops in an effort to bring more Blues back to LA through the Blues Kitchen. Tim and Whitton also really love to dance, so be sure to ask them! Look for Blues Kitchen on Facebook!
